We anticipate longer processing times to receive passports and you must secure yours with enough time to apply for visas for your program country. 0 6913 0 Updated Davidson Study Abroad Funding Policy (3/7/22) Davidson's Covid Response Team agreed that college-related travel during summer break and fall 2022 may proceed provided that travelers take necessary precautions and adhere carefully to national, regional, local, host or partner organization guidance.

  • A U.S. Department of State (USDOS) travel advisory could be level 4 for other high risks such as civic unrest, natural disasters, etc., in addition to Covid-19. Under those circumstances, travel is not permitted. The Office of Education Abroad and other college program, grant administrators and students must continue to monitor the USDOS advisories on a regular basis to understand the reasons for the USDOS classification

  • If a USDOS travel advisory for the planned destination is at level 4 due to Covid-19 alone, the college will no longer prohibit the use of funds towards international travel related to experiential learning endeavors.
