Apply Now for Passport!
If you plan on applying for Winter or Spring 2022 and you do not have a passport or your passport will expire in the next year, you should apply now for a new passport. We anticipate longer processing times to receive passports and you must secure yours with enough time to apply for visas for your program country.

Updated Davidson Study Abroad Funding Policy (3/7/22)
Davidson's Covid Response Team agreed that college-related travel during summer break and fall 2022 may proceed provided that travelers take necessary precautions and adhere carefully to national, regional, local, host or partner organization guidance.
- A U.S. Department of State (USDOS) travel advisory could be level 4 for other high risks such as civic unrest, natural disasters, etc., in addition to Covid-19. Under those circumstances, travel is not permitted. The Office of Education Abroad and other college program, grant administrators and students must continue to monitor the USDOS advisories on a regular basis to understand the reasons for the USDOS classification
- If a USDOS travel advisory for the planned destination is at level 4 due to Covid-19 alone, the college will no longer prohibit the use of funds towards international travel related to experiential learning endeavors.
